Earlier, there were reports that latest news from Prabhu Deva and actress Nayanthara would tie the knot some time in June or July 2011. The lawyers of both the parties submitted letters to the court for their absence. But the latest news(buzz) is that the marriage plans have been put on hold as Prabhu Deva and his wife Ramlath failed to appear before the Court last Thursday. According to a source, Prabhu Deva has already started giving the alimony he promised to his wife Ramlath and as a first step, he recently paid her Rs. 5 lakhs. The judge has postponed the hearing to July 10. Meanwhile, Nayanthara seems to be planning to quit films. She recently completed shooting for the Latest Telugu film Sri Rama Rajyam with Balakrishna. However, the court adjourned the case till July,10. It may be recalled that Prabhu Deva-Ramalatha approached the court to dissolve their marriage in December 2010.
A farmhouse and a 22-cent property in ECR have also been transferred to Ramlath and their two sons Rishi and Aditya. Besides a property in Hyderabad, a flat in Anna Nagar will also be transferred to Ramlath's name. In their petition, they have claimed that due to their irreconcilable differences, they have decided to part ways.
