Jayalalitha(AIADMK smiles) Karunanithi( DMK cries)

Hot news from J.Jayalalitha visit with PM:

During Miss.J.Jayalalitha maiden visit to the national capital Delhi after a landslide victory over Congress ally DMK in the 2011 Assembly Elections, TN Chief Minister Jayalalitha scheduled to meet Prime Minister Mr.Manmohan Singh on Tuesday, Jun 14.

Jayalalitha's hot visit to Delhi is closely watched by her political rival DMK as rumours popped up about the possibilities of a political realignment with Congress. Even though DMK continued to offer support for UPA amid
hot news Kanimozhi's arrest in 2G spectrum case, some of the prominent Congress leaders are not happy with the beleaguered relation. Although Congress has clearly said DMK will remain its partner and Amma's agenda when she meets Prime Minister Manmohan Singh around noon on Tuesday will be packed with financial demands and complaints of DMK's mismanagement of Tamil Nadu's economy, Jayalalithaa's reemergence has changed the southern calculus.

TN CM J.Jayalalithaa reached Delhi on Monday afternoon and met BJP leader Ravishankar Prasad, Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit and CPI's National Secretary D Raja.

While meeting Prime Minister, the AIADMK chief is expected to take up issues concerning Tamil Nadu including power(current) crisis and problems faced by Indian fishermen.

The Sri Lankan Tamils issue is also expected to be on the agenda, with the State Assembly adopting a unanimous resolution seeking New Delhi and other countries to impose sanctions on Sri Lanka for the way it had been handling the Tamils issue.
Jayalalithaa's visit will not see her meet Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, but if her confidence is an indicator, the AIADMK chief will look to engage the Centre on a range of issues, including resettlement of Tamils in Sri Lanka since DMK is no longer the sole voice on such matters.
